Our Founder

Zoe Wright RM

Founder & CEO

The RealBirth Programme, was inspired into creation from my extensive experience as a community midwife. Frustrated by the difficulties faced by women and the lack of balanced, evidence-based information that was complex to understand, I set out to make a change. My firsthand experiences highlighted the need for accessible, clear, and comprehensive maternity support that was easy to understand, translated accurately and culturally relevant. The RealBirth programme was born to help guide pregnant women, people and their partners through a journey that prepares them for labour and birth, whilst maternity teams can feel confident that the antenatal information they are providing is clinically accurate, evidence-based, reliable and thorough.

Who We Work With

We collaborate with a wide range of organisations, including the NHS, private hospitals, and other government-funded services. Our partnerships allow us to deliver up-to-date, evidence-based antenatal information with a positive attitude. By empowering women and their birth partners with knowledge and confidence, we help them navigate one of life’s most significant events with assurance and support.

RealBirth is constantly
working towards equity

At The RealBirth Company, we are constantly working towards achieving equity in communities by supporting organisations and groups that are harder to reach.

We are committed to increasing the number of women and people with access to the reliable antenatal information that we provide both in the UK and internationally.

Our commitment to supporting communities goes beyond words. Driven by our passion to make a meaningful impact, we have proudly established our very own Community Interest Company, the Real Birth Studio. Through this initiative, we provide essential resources, education, and support to empower individuals and families, supporting stronger, healthier communities.
