As our digital development and technology is created in our, our supply chain is minimum apart from consumables. We are procured directly by private medical companies and the NHS directly, all of whom have and are committed to their own Modern Slavery Acts in line with legal requirements. We would class ourselves as having a low risk of modern slavery with our business, our supply chains and within the companies that we serve.
Due Diligence Processes Relating to Slavery and Human Trafficking
As part of our efforts to monitor, manage and reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring within our business or supply chains, we adopt the following due diligence procedure:
– Ensuring all companies that we work with have a publicly available Modern Slavery Act.
Our process aims to:
- Identify, monitor, and manage areas of potential risk in our business and supply chain.
- Scrutinise any identified areas of risk within our business and supply chain.
- Adopt a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking throughout the organisation and our supply chain.
- Provide support and protection from detriment or disadvantage to any person who, in the public interest, raises genuine concerns amounting to a protected disclosure.
Risk and Compliance
Our organisation regularly evaluates the nature and extent to which our business and our supply chains are exposed to the risk of modern slavery occurring.
We do not consider the sector and locations that we work in to be considered as high risk due to modern slavery not being prevalent in the UK. However, as we move to work on a more global level this policy will be reviewed where appropriate and additional procedures and risk management processes will be implemented to ensure we can aid in the prevention and identification of modern slavery.
We ensure our supplier and organisations procuring our services are aware of our policies and encourage them to adopt our high standards. We adopt a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking throughout the organisation which extends to our supply chains and organisations that’s procure our services, upon discovery of a breech of our policies relating to slavery and human trafficking we will terminate any relationships with the relevant business / organisation with immediate effect.
Training
We ensure all employees are aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains and each employee received a copy of our Modern Slavery Act upon employment.
Further Actions, Approval and Endorsement
As our business grows and implements its services in to a wider range of organisations and countries, this policy will be reviewed and adapted to take into consideration higher risk countries and the additional processes required to ensure we can maintain a zero tolerance policy. Additional staff training will be implemented at this time also.
This policy will be reviewed yearly as a minimum.
